Before George Floyd, most Americans couldn’t imagine violent protests breaking out on their streets — let alone riots and vandalism. University of California Professor John M. Ellis could and did. Over the course of a few crucial decades, the radical Left methodically took over America’s college campuses. It has eradicated dissent and replaced scholarship with indoctrination. Now it extends beyond the campus gates into American life. Die Weltwoche asks, “Can it be stopped?”

Die Ausdrücke „links“ oder „rechts“ werden hier selbstverständlich im US-Kontext gebraucht, und dieser ist ein anderer als in Europa. Also stellt sich die vorgelagerte Frage, was damit politisch jeweils genau gemeint ist. Wenn mit „links“ z. B. der Postmodernismus (etwa als Identitätspolitik) gemeint sein sollte, dann wäre ein Widerspruch fällig, weil der Postmodernismus von Nietzsche inspiriert ist; so z. B. bei Michel Foucault.
